NTVO 2025 Fly-in Kiewa Valley

About

NTVO flying event is tranditionally the season starter. It is aimed towards pilots of all levels. Flying activities and sites will be chosen based on the condition of the day. There will be activities for novices and more advanced pilots.

Accommodation 

Pilots are encouraged to seek their own accommodation. There are plenty of free and paid camping options around in the Kiewa Valley. Word on the street is that The Park, Mt Beauty is a good camping ground and will make a nice base for the event: https://www.theparkmountbeauty.com.au/

Saftey requirments 

Radio programmed to channel 16 TSQL 97.4

Reserve - ensure your reserve has had a repack within the last 12 months.

Social night / Events

A number of structured events are usually arranged including: spot landing comp, closest to target comp, waypoint challenge, and a social night will be organised, highly likely a BBQ.  

Weather

Announcements will be made the week before pending weather conditions for the area. If conditions are not suitable for flying, ground-handling events maybe arranged instead and/or a tree-rescue talk/demo.
